Welcome to the Reliq Leather collaboration page. My name is Michele Belvedere, an independent artisan based in Bergamo, Italy. My goal is to bring history to life through authentic, hand-tooled leathercraft.

I am an independent creator. The goal of my workshop is to handcraft unique pieces with a strong historical, aesthetic, and functional appeal.

From past to present through traditional arts

Evoking medieval sources and aesthetics through the artisanal traditions of hand-tooling, wet molding, hand-dyeing, and saddle stitching, I aim to offer an alternative for those seeking original, handmade accessories capable of standing the "test of time" whether in their aesthetic appeal, everyday use, or historical reenactment settings.

From the beginning to our historical space

Born over the years as a self-taught personal expression outside of work, in 2025 the project transformed into an e-commerce site and has recently entered the reenactment circuit to reveal the authenticity of the Middle Ages and work "as it once was" directly to the public.

Together with my partner Sabrina, who takes care of the tailoring aspect, we designed and built a philological counter. This exhibition space, in addition to being a commercial showcase, is designed to offer visitors a coherent visual experience while at the same time disseminating the methods used to produce the objects.

Growing an independent project is a journey without a roadmap, full of daily challenges. To make it sustainable, I personally oversee every aspect of the workshop, combining craftsmanship with the skills I've developed in my previous professional lives:

Advertising Designer: Web development, video editing, photography, visual communication.
Production Shift Manager: Logistics, coordination, optimization and problem-solving.
Bonus (LARP and Fencing): Scenic immersion, naturalness with the audience.
