The Reliq History: Italian Handcrafted EDC & Historical Leather

Reliq Leather is an emerging workshop born from a deep passion for medieval reproductions and fine craftsmanship, forged through six years of rigorous, self-taught practice. My goal is to create original, never-before-seen leather pieces while strictly respecting historical tradition. Originally an online-only project, Reliq has now hit the road: in 2026, the workshop officially became itinerant, ready to welcome you in person at my medieval-themed booth during events.

Exploring the Reliq Workshop

My name is Michele Belvedere, and my creations span distinct yet highly complementary worlds. For the modern adventurer, the Heritage EDC line offers meticulously crafted wallets and accessories, designed to enhance your contemporary gear with a historical touch. For fans of historical reenactment, HEMA, and LARP, I design and create durable technical gear, including custom armor and scabbards.

How it is made

Every piece leaving the workbench in Cologno al Serio is meticulously crafted using premium full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. This approach ensures that whether you are carrying an everyday wallet or wielding a custom scabbard in HEMA combat, the material withstands field use, resisting wear while developing a uniquely personal patina over time.

My creations span 3 worlds

Technical equipment for historical reenactment and HEMA (through a collaboration with an Italian manufacturer of swords), armor for the LARP world, and author hand-tooled accessories for everyday use.
