The estimated production time is shown right below the product title on each product page. It depends on the complexity and the current order queue. Most pieces ship within 3 weeks or less. Simpler items may take less time. Your order enters the queue as soon as it’s placed.

Each piece is more than handmade. It follows an exclusive method developed before RELIQ, based on deep research to reconstruct, compose, and translate original references into certified Italian leather with precision and full historical accuracy. Time and no shortcuts is part of the price.

Yes. Collection products include the Bespoke Leather Tone service, where you can define border, interior, and thread colors. Together we refine them into a balanced composition, sometimes using exclusive non-stock materials, with one feedback round before production.

Beyond this, Reliq also accepts full custom works such as scabbards, quivers, reenactment gear, or historically inspired pieces. All tooling is handmade and every request is carefully reviewed before confirmation. Custom work requires a 50% deposit at confirmation and 50% before shipping.

We ship worldwide with tracked and insured delivery: usually 2–5 business days within Europe, 3-7 worldwide, and up to 13 in remote areas. Customs duties may apply outside the EU. Carriers are chosen not based on cost, but on reliability and safety for each destination. We always select the service that offers high security and delivery guarantees — never the cheapest. It’s part of respecting the value of each piece and the trust of those who choose RELIQ.

Always. Every order is fully tracked and insured against loss or damage. You’ll receive a tracking number when your order ships. In case of loss or damage, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and all relevant details. A full refund or replacement will be offered. Returns are only accepted for proven execution defects (not related to natural marks or craftsmanship signs) or for damages during shipping. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. Refunds or remakes for shipping damages are processed after the courier’s insurance claim is settled. Depending on the case, Reliq may offer a prioritized remake or fair compensation instead of a full refund. Returns for change of mind are not accepted, in compliance with EU consumer law for custom-made items.

Every piece includes a signed certificate of authenticity, attesting to both the craftsmanship and the use of certified Italian vegetable-tanned leather, sourced from tanneries of the “Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale” and guaranteeing quality, traceability, and ethical production.

Vegetable-tanned leather is made for daily use and built to last. It starts slightly firm but softens with use while keeping its structure. Hand-tooled engravings are permanent and don’t fade. The leather is hand-finished to achieve a natural-looking matte surface without synthetic coatings. Over time, it develops a patina, darkening slightly and gaining a subtle aged character, as is typical of this leather. The handmade nature stays visible; every cut, line, and gesture becomes part of its identity. Built to last, designed to adapt.

Minimal care is needed. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean when necessary. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, water, or heat sources. Apply leather balm occasionally to the exterior to keep the surface nourished. When not in use, store in a dry, ventilated place.
